What are Liberating Structures?
Liberating Structures are a collection of 40+ interaction patterns that help groups work together more effectively. But it’s not just a toolkit. It’s a method for designing how people think, talk, and create together.
Small structural choices create big differences. Who speaks when. In what sized groups. For how long. With what question. No minor details, they shape everything that happens next.
In this 2-hour online workshop, you’ll experience five core structures, reflect on what makes them work, and learn the principles behind them. You won’t just learn about Liberating Structures, you’ll use them, feel how they work, and walk away ready to apply them.

Ruben Klerkx works with teams in healthcare, education, government, and social sectors. As a facilitator, interaction designer, and complexity thinker, he helps groups move from stuck patterns to productive collaboration. His work focuses on Liberating Structures, systems thinking and Complexity Science.
